Wedding Flats

I have the privilege of serving as the Maid of Honor for one of my best friend's wedding this summer. While she has had this wedding planning thing down pat, I did have the chance to help her pick out her attire for the big day. I'd say I have been a pretty good wedding stylist so far, but my next task is to find some flats for her to wear for her reception. Obviously they need to be comfortable, but also something that she will be able to wear again. Here is what I found:

Wedding Flats

No, that is not her dress, but the Badgley Mischka pumps you see there are the ones she will be wearing when she says, "I Do." Aren't they lovely?

Super Bowl Wardrobe

Don't you wish you could treat the internet like your own personal closet? Kind like Cher from Clueless. You could look up all your clothes on the computer, and they would just rotate to the front of your closet. Except that your closet has every piece of clothes ever made in it. Wouldn't that be nice? If that were the case, this is what I would pick out for the Super Bowl party this afternoon:

Super Bowl

It's neutral; I don't want to side with Green Bay or the Steelers, and I also don't really want to wear head-to-toe yellow or look like one of these guys. But mostly, I just love brown-navy-white color combo's.

What are you going to wear for the big game?

Trend: Bows

We saw lots of bows at the Golden Globes, but they aren't just for dresses and presents. Sport some bows on your shoes.

Fantasy vs. Reality

I bought a great pair of pumps yesterday and I couldn't help but be reminded of YSL's famous pumps. That got me thinking, there are a lot of less expensive look-a-likes out there, which is definitely more in my budget. Here are a few:

The Colors for Spring

It may not be snowing here in Dallas, but the weather is definitely starting to cool down dramatically. It's a little funny to me, that when the peak of summer hits, I can't wait until fall and winter. But as the fall turns into winter, I can't wait until Spring. The fashion world has been looking toward the spring for a few months now and Pantone has released their "Colors for Spring 2011", Honeysuckle Pink leading the bunch.

Shoes for the Winter

The temperatures are starting to drop, and some places its already starting to snow. Sometimes it can be hard to find shoes that will keep your tootsies warm without compromising style. For me, boots are essential in the winter time, but if you don't like boots, there are plenty of other options.

Sheerling Lined Boots for chilly days.

Rain boots to battle the elements.
Versatile Oxfords for almost any season.

Casual slip-ons when you're running out the door.
