Kate Spade: Fall 2011

With just a glimpse of Kate Spade's newest collection, its easy to see her inspiration. I see a little Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly, and Jackie-O. I love this classic take on her dresses, bags, and especially the shoes. What do you think?

Wedding Flats

I have the privilege of serving as the Maid of Honor for one of my best friend's wedding this summer. While she has had this wedding planning thing down pat, I did have the chance to help her pick out her attire for the big day. I'd say I have been a pretty good wedding stylist so far, but my next task is to find some flats for her to wear for her reception. Obviously they need to be comfortable, but also something that she will be able to wear again. Here is what I found:

Wedding Flats

No, that is not her dress, but the Badgley Mischka pumps you see there are the ones she will be wearing when she says, "I Do." Aren't they lovely?

Trend: Polka Dots

I'm not sure if this will a trend I will catch onto, but I have been surprised by how many designers are incorporating polka dots into their shoes. Here are just a few:

Trend: Prints

It's not too common to find non-animal printed shoes, but they are starting to pop up more and more.

Trend: Bows

We saw lots of bows at the Golden Globes, but they aren't just for dresses and presents. Sport some bows on your shoes.

Sunday Slippers

It's Sunday. For me, that means a day to relax, sleep in, maybe stay in PJs all day (so far so good). How about a nice pair of slippers to go along with all that?

They don't look like slippers do they? I know. Aren't they gorgeous? I think I can lounge around on a lazy Sunday in these puppies.
